"You are a pitiful fighter."

SEX - FemaleBIO - As the order of Jedi resurfaced, so did the teachings of teras kasi, in the form of Arden Lyn, Master of Teras Kasi. A Palawan Warrior from the time of Jedi, her youthfulness belied her actual age. Her skills as one of the last Teras Kasi Masters had attracted the attention of the Emperor and Darth Vader, who had assigned here to track down and take out key Rebel Alliance personnel. Arden, however, had her own agenda... The Galactic Empire was sent reeling from the loss of the first Death Star. The Emperor ordered swift and severe retribution against the Rebel Alliance. His subversive and covert method of hurting the Alliance: the feared and effective young assassin, Arden Lyn. A student of an ancient and almost forgotten fighting art known as teras kasi. Arden was a clever threat. Under the watchful eye of Darth Vader, she was to terminate key members of the Rebel Alliance and thus ease the pain of the Empire's loss. The Alliance learned of the plan and decided to meet the challenge head-on.
The Followers of Palawa were intense contemplators of existence. Consequently, they unwittingly mastered the Force trance. The longest lasted an unbelievable seventy years, during which the Followers seemed to have hardly aged. It wasn't, however, until encountering the martial art teras kasi that these philosopher-hermits mined the deepest channels of the Force and were seduced by the dark side. Like the Jedi, there were masters of teras kasi who used the Force malevolently. One was Arden Lyn. She, along with her Kashi Mer exile beau Xendor and his minions, wreaked havoc during The First Great Schism. When Lyn was cornered by Jedi Master Awdrysta Pina, she used a powerful Kashi Mer talisman to annihilate him. Before dying, Pina used the horrific technique of "mortichro" to arrest Lyn's body functions, stopping her heart. Through a freakish combination of events, Lyn survived. Mysteriously reemerging millennia later at the end of the Jedi Purge, Arden ran a foul of Jedi hunters. However, she handled herself well, severely injuring Inquisitor Tremayne and killing Inquisitor Darys before Grand Inquisitor Torbin cleaved her right arm. Tremayne intended to kill her, but Torbin decided that Emperor Palpatine might find her rare martial arts skills useful. Fortunately for Lyn, the Emperor saw great potential in her. Besides being a teras kasi adept, she could harness sound energy and create sonic shockwaves of immense power. By promising to call her lover's spirit back from Chaos, Palpatine tempted Arden into his service and replaced her arm with that of an ancient war droid. For years, Lyn did Palpatine's bidding, sharing her training secrets with his Byss Mages and Sovereign Protectors. She realized, however, that Palpatine had no intention of keeping his promise. Thus, when the first Death Star was destroyed and he entrusted her with eliminating key Rebels, Arden used the freedom to plot her escape, finding and training students to eventually turn against Palpatine. Her attempt to kidnap Palpatine for rogue Grand Admiral Zaarin was foiled. Lyn fled, hunted by a still resentful High Inquisitor Tremayne. Arden now searches for the relic (the Kashi Mer talisman) that once allowed her to cow he galaxy and cheat death, and possibly a means of returning Xendor to life.
Arden was unsuccessful in completing her assignment. She had failed the Emperor, Darth Vader, and herself. Her own plans of extracting power had also been denied. Suffering from extreme disgrace and fearing for her life, she fled underground. After a few years out of circulation, she found herself an apprentice in the dark soul, Vantos Arson. With the death of the Emperor and Vader, she no longer fears for her life, and has built a new plan to carve out her own chunk of the galaxy. You can almost hear her whisper in the air: "I shall be triumphant!" She's preparing to come out of hiding, and she's bringing fear with her.
