BIO - Adopted by Bail Organa as a baby, Leia stowed the plans of the original Death Star (stolen by Kyle Katarn) into R2-D2 with a message to find Obi-Wan Kenobi. Leia was imprisoned in detention block AA-23 cell 2187 by Darth Vader and Grand Moff Tarkin on the Death Star. She was forced to witness the destruction of her homeworld of Alderaan as an example to not cross the Empire. She was freed from the Death Star by Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. When the Alliance had to evacuate Echo Base on the planet Hoth, Leia escaped with Han in the Millenium Falcon. They made their way to Cloud City on Bespin where they were captured by Darth Vader. Leia was rescued by Lando Calrissian, the Baron Administrator of Cloud City. In an attempt to save Han from the clutches of Jabba the Hutt, Leia was enslaved, but later choked Jabba to death. At the battle of Endor, she was an asset in destroying the shield generator for the uncompleted Death Star, allowing it to be blown up.
Leia accepts the fact that Luke Skywalker is her brother, but at the same time struggles with the idea that Darth Vader was her father. She strives to end the tyranny of the Empire, and establish the New Republic as the governing body of the galaxy.
