"Wipe them out. All of them."

BIO - At the time of Emperor Palpatine's death, Jag Tannin had recently acheived the rank of Colonel. With his new stripes, he was given command of a tactical unit that exceeded the size of many of equal or superior status. The downside of his command was that it consisted of striking at sympathizers of the Rebel Alliance in the Outer Rim of the galaxy, where no goal-oriented officer wanted to be stationed. Upon hearing of the results from the Battle of Endor, Colonel Tannin pledged to keep the Empire alive. Soon after, Jag became the project director of Operation: Claymore, the second coming of the Phantom Fighter. The previous director, Vice-Admiral Blazon, was killed by a disgruntled bounty hunter. Originally, the Colonel was third in line to take direction of Opertion: Claymore, behind two Admirals, but due to his exceptional skills in making others look bad at critical times, the powers that be awarded it to him. The bonus was not only did he get the Phantom Fighters; he got Baron Nico Chequer, one of the best pilots in the Imperial Navy. Jag has slipped into a state of schizophrenia. One personality is "Sire Tannin," who tends to enjoy his power a little too much sometimes. The other personality is "Warlord Tannin," the vengeful, disciplined war machine.
Jag became the next in line. Jag reminded everybody around him that he deserved his rank. He didn't let anybody know that he did it not only with his war record, but through some plotting and scheming to make other officers look incompetant.
