BIO - Son Hhat had been working as a political advisor to Senator Palpatine for about five standard years at the time that the representative of Naboo was elected Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Senate. Thirty years later, following the destruction of the Death Star at the Battle of Yavin, Hhat was still advising the now self-appointed Emperor (who really didn't need any advice) and nearly found himself the target of Palpatine's rage (that misfortune fell upon Bevel Lemelisk, the designer of the super weapon). Son Hhat did not even notice the Force sensitivity that Palpatine felt in him. The Force sensitivity that stopped Palpatine from killing him. Instead, Son was placed in a status position as a Vizier within the Emperor's Inner Circle. The head of the ministry, Grand Vizier Sate Pestage, grew fond of Son's abilities, and assigned him important projects that impressed Emperor Palpatine. At the Battle of Endor, the Emperor had sent Vizier Hhat back to Coruscant to advise the Director of Imperial Intelligence, Ysanne Isard ("Iceheart"), on what to do after the victory. When word came of the destruction of the second Death Star, and the deaths of the Emperor and Lord Vader, Son quickly assisted the remaining powers that be with a plan for cover-up. The lessons that Son learned by respecting the Emperor's political knowledge, told him that the fighting amongst the Imperial ranks would eventually bring down the Empire from the inside, allowing the Alliance to regain control. Without panic, Son found his way into the Imperial Sanctum. He searched through the Emperor's personal archives, and walked out, unseen, with an armful of classfied datacards and a large book of Sith lore. He fled off-planet, away from the power struggles, to design a plan to re-establish the reign of the weakened Empire. Son Hhat found his way to the dark, volcanic planet of Tartarus. It was there that he discovered, upon one of the datacards, the secret location of the remnants of the last Mandalorian army. Palpatine had hide them on the planet Ojibway in the Lahara Sector. The same sector that Tartarus was in. On the other datacards, he found information on a Force-sensitive mercenary named Arden Lyn, and a project to improve the V-38 assault fighters. After reading through the book of Sith lore, Son learned the Palpatine had taken the Sith name, Darth Sidious. He also realized that the Emperor had been priming him in the Sith arts for years. The confidence that Palpatine had in him, inspired Son to study the book of lore and constantely train to become a Dark Lord himself. A year into his training, he decided to visit the planet Korriban. According to the book, it was the "place of power" and seethed with dark-side energy. The spirit of a Sith Lord named Marka Ragnos was awakened by Son's presence. Marka Ragnos was the last ruler of the great Sith Empire. With nearly 5,000 years to recharge his life force, and the enthusiasm of his new protege, Ragnos told Son that he would train him to become a Dark Lord. Following two years of brutal training, an intimate ceremony between Son Hhat and the spirit of Marka Ragnos was held in the Valley of the Dark Lords. Son took the name Darth Morbia and became the new Dark Lord of the Sith in the galaxy. The last thing that Lord Morbia had to do was find an apprentice. The end of the ceremony was disturbed by a brash, young lady named Vantos Arson. Her ship, the Sonic Banshee, had crashed near the Dark Lord Mausoleum, and she was drawn to the valley to find help. Lord Morbia had found his apprentice. Back on Tartarus, Darth Morbia spent the next year training Vantos and preparing the Mandalorians to reclaim the Empire.
Once again the Sith have returned to the galaxy. Once again the galaxy is unaware of their return. This time will not be as the last. This time they are bringing the Warriors of Mandalore with them. Darth Morbia has already set his stratagem into motion, and it doesn't even know it.

Son Hhat = an unused name from the first draft of A New Hope. the character eventually becomes Emperor Palpatine.
